The Greeks sealed their spot in South Africa after a narrow 1-0 victory over the Ukraine in the second leg of their World Cup qualifier play-off, earning the country’s second ever appearance in the competition, its first since USA ’94.Many will remember Greece for their gritty Euro 2004 win in Portugal and they will be bringing more of that flavour further south in 2010.
Skipper Giorgos Karagounis will anchor Otto Rehhagel’s midfield and push the team to press and defend, looking to attack on the counter whenever possible.

Rehhagel's super-defensive tactics astonishingly prevailed in the 2004 European Championships and they secured their second World Cup finals place by beating Ukraine in a play-off. A no-thrills passage to the last 16 is a possibility given the relatively tame draw, but they are surely too one-dimensional to go any further.

South Korea rampaged through unbeaten during their Asian qualifying campaign to qualify for their eighth campaign and seventh straight World Cup finals appearance. Overall, the South Koreans won seven and drew seven games.
South Korea’s excellent results were partly down to coach Huh Jung-Moo, who is in his third spell in charge of the Taegeuk Warriors. The former Korea international also won the AFC Coach of the Year Award in November '09 for his efforts.
Premier League fans will be familiar with this team as there are four South Koreans plying their trade in England - Seol Ki-Hyeon, Cho Won-Hee, Park Ji-Sung and Lee Chung-Yong.
Chances for South Korea to win world cup 2010:
Better equipped to progress from the group phase this time around than in Germany. They are usually physically very well drilled and that stamina should stand them in good stead in the heat of competition.
